Super Chargers

(Do yourself a favor and press play just before reading this update)

It was a huge Sunday for Major League Lock Club members!  The Day games saw our crew go an impressive 10-4 against the number.  Five of those folks took the SAN DIEGO SUPER CHARGERS who dismantled the New York S-U-C-K SUCK SUCK SUCKS.  That victory allowed Packy to grab control of the Largest Spread Cover by an NFL Vapor Lock.  Both our leader and second place man took the Chargers as well.  Meehoe had a nice pick in Cleveland which allowed him to gain 6 points (originally it was listed as 8 but that was a clerical error).

Sunday Night Football was not kind to most of those who chose to play it.  First, last, Packy and T-Dummy all fell for the Cincinnati hype.  There was no way Tommy Terrific was going to let Andy Dalton come into his house and show him up, not after all of the heat he had been receiving over the past week.  Only Cento and Dirty D were smart enough to see this one coming.  In fact, Dirty D bounced back to win his final Vapor.  With that, he finds himself currently sitting in the shade of the money tree (aka 5th place).

I would be remiss if I failed to inform you that a new record was set tonight.  After one of the most gut-wrenching failures to cover I have ever personally witnessed late Saturday night, I went 0-2 again today.  That means that I now currently own the record for consecutive losses at 5 (and counting).  The awesomeness of my futility doesn't stop there, though.  Oh, no.  I also moved to 2-8 in NFL games this year - also a league worst.  So there you go.

The current standings can be found on the league homepage or on the active Pick Sheets link.  See you tomorrow night.
